Undergraduate Student Travel Award Application

Thank you for applying for the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center Travel Award to participate in a cancer-focused conference or meeting. Complete this application prior to May 30th, 2025. A completed application must include:

  • A scientific abstract - one page maximum (It is strongly recommended that the abstract include details on how your research addresses priority areas for the Cancer Center including but not limited to: cancer health disparities; cancer etiology; biomedical technologies/ models/ methods; comparative oncology; personalized medicine strategies; and team science.) 
  • A mentor letter of support
  • An NIH-style biosketch (It is strongly recommended that your personal statement describe your lived experiences and need/suitability for a travel award)

These documents can be uploaded using the links at the bottom of this application form. Applicants must be UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center Affiliate Scholars to be considered for these awards.

This award covers the period between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
